The GP-105 is a 5-Port Gigabit Desktop/Rack-mountable plug-and-play Switch with four PoE+ standard ports and one gigabit Ethernet ports that provides a cost-effective solution to add PoE appliances to an existing wired network. With a total power budget of 80W (up to 30W per port), the GP-105 can power more high-powered devices like wireless Access Points (APs), IP Cameras or IP Phones.
The GP-105 supports the Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) standard which enables it to automatically detect and supply power to any IEEE 802.3af/at compliant device enabling these devices to be placed in traditionally hard-to-access locations.
For safety, the GP-105 has built-in prioritization that kicks in if total power draw reaches or exceeds 80W that will cut the power to the lowest-priority port, ensuring that power consumption stays in check, while mission-critical appliances remain powered.
