To enable easy connection to your 10GbE optical network, Twin10G SFP28 includes two short-range multi-mode fibre SFP28 transceivers (up to 300 meters).

Suitable for Use in Noise-sensitive Environments

Small enough to easily fit in most workspaces, Twin10G SFP28 Thunderbolt Adapter is still large enough to support proper airflow inside the case — its design enables the adapter’s temperature-controlled, variable-speed fan to keep the adapter running cool and whisper-quiet at all times, making it suitable for use in in almost any workspace. Constructed of rugged and lightweight aluminum, the adapter’s outer shell securely protects the inner circuitry.

Intelligent Operation. Efficient Performance.

Twin10G SFP28 Thunderbolt Adapter attains high throughput performance with minimal host CPU load. The adapter’s smart controller has its own internal processing system with onboard memory to process TX/RX data while using few CPU resources. Once data appears in queues, TX checksums are computed on the fly as data is transmitted; RX checksums are quickly verified, and data is immediately passed directly to main memory. This independent controller action minimizes latency and avoids packet drops. The CPU is freed for other tasks.

All the Right Connections – Thunderbolt Cable and ThunderLok

Sonnet includes a Thunderbolt cable that supports Thunderbolt’s maximum bandwidth and is fully compatible with Thunderbolt 3, 4 or 5 computers. Sonnet also provides a ThunderLok Thunderbolt connector retainer clip that prevents accidental cable disconnections.
