The Edition 15 and the Edition 15 Veritas are the successors to the very successful Edition 5, have all the advantages but avoid the slight weaknesses of that model.
Our customers have given us feedback that the sound is too dry and that they would like a softer, more musical appearance in the lower and mid frequency range.
After an intensive development and research phase, we have developed a new sound transducer that combines the best of both worlds. The GTC transducer (gold-titanium compound) has the gold-coated part of the dome for the bass and mid-range, while the upper and highest frequency range is reproduced with the titanium-coated part.
In this way, the Edition 15 in the semi-open version and the Edition 15 Veritas in the closed version skilfully combine warmth and musicality with absolute precision, creating a uniquely sounding headphone for the demands of our audiophile friends.
Whether you prefer the semi-open or the closed version depends on your preferences and listening conditions, both have cherry wood capsule frames with a soft, finely sanded and waxed finish, metal plaques, aluminum temples, magnetically attached ear pads and LEMO connectors for the detachable 1.4 meter cable (balanced ready) or the 3.0 meter cable as well as a leather-covered case for safe storage.
